At the IBM Think 2018 Conference, Dr. Michio Kaku said that in the last years of his life Stephen Hawking communicated using a chip, installed in his right glass, capable of picking-up radio waves generated by his brain and translated into words by a computer.

While the information is extraordinary we didn't find any reference to such existing technology.

Not even on the official website of Stephen Hawking, where he presented the tools used for communication, information updated till 26/01/2018.

We understand that Stephen Hawking tried some brain controlled interfaces but without success.

If you have more detailed information regarding this please let us know.

This is horse-shit, Stephen Hawkings last and most sophisticated method of communication was a cursor on a screen designed to register a cheek twitch..in other words he twitched his cheek when the cursor covered the word he wanted..thats why his tv interviews were pre-recorded, he could take up to a minute to get to the word or phrase he wished to used..(I think someone must've played a prank on this so called genius and it paid off nicely, I suppose if you're able to give credence to the theory of dark-matter you're able to give credence to pretty much anything).
