YouTube is trying to kill Google Play Music

It's been over a year, but Google is still trying to get to one music platform.

Google Play Music is their best app. How about improving it instead of replacing it? The sound quality from YouTube Music is garbage.

I agree 100% I use Google Play Music as my default and I've loved using it. I don't see the need for YouTube Music. I'd rather stick with Google Play Music.

This is so frustrating. At this point, the only reason I'm keeping Google Play Music aside from the cloud storage is because I've got YouTube Premium included. I don't know why Google constantly messes up its own services and products with all the money they have. I also agree that they should've just rebranded the service and added some new features instead of this rough overhaul.

Google takes something unique and really good then takes some of their unique features and puts then in half-completed products and hopes we forget about it. Nice try big G

I think I speak for many of us former disgruntled GPM subscribers that wished Google had just rebranded GPM and modernized the interface and perhaps they would gain a few more subscribers for reasons other than commercial free YouTube.

I will not switch over to YT Music until I am able to bring over my entire library from Google Play Music.

It took me years to build up my library to the point where it is now. I do not want to have to go through that process again.

I transferred and ive only been on YT Music for 3 days. So far I thoroughly hate it since there is no scroll bar to scroll down ur long list of music, there is no way to delete music from your existing list of music, and u cant use the search to search for a song on your list of music. Beautiful 😔

YouTube doesn't offer the "radio" feature. If I want to listen to music similar to rod Stewart, could play "Rod Stewart radio" and hear artists that are similar. YouTube, not so much. Very disappointed. 😔
