I'm glad Jeff Myers mentions the contrasts between the French Revolution and the American Revolution. In the French Revolution, which took a vehemently anti-clerical, anti-religious and anti-Christianity attitude. Not only did this result in the execution through guillotine 40, 000 innocent people, it also resulted in the Dechristianization campaign - which in turn, provoked the War of the Vendee in the early 1790s. This led to what some historians call genocide in the Vendee against devout Catholics who rose up against the revolution...

I grew up on Lookout Mountain, GA!!! Covenant College used to be a beautiful hotel known as The Castle in the Clouds and in the 1930's entertained people like Al Capone. Look what God did!! He changed it into a place for Christians to be equipped for His service and a place where He is now glorified.
