Oh Donna. I just have to tell you that you are the most wonderful teacher and such a kind, gentle natured lady. I am 63 years anrd live in South Africa.
I have never been crazy about sewing, but a friend challenged me to make a quilt with her. I thought "oh no Sue, why did you say yes?!
"Oh dear, better get the torture over with! But never again! " Or so I thought. . I started with a baby quilt for my granddaughter in Australia, and then the quilt grew and grew ...and grew until it was a single bed size! I wish I could send you a photo but dont know how to, and i dont even know if you even have time to read this! But to cut a long story short, I really enjoyed it thanks to your excellent explanations. You are a born teacher and so patient.
My quilt took over 6 months to sew . May i ask how long yours take you?! I am starting a king size quilt now, actually, one of your patterns. I adore the Kaffe Fasse material, but dont get it here. Donna, you are a blessing to so many people and absolutely the best teacher. Your husband and children are incredibly blessed to have you. Keep well and may God keep blessing you. You were born for such a time as this and I believe you are fulfilling the purpose and gifting the Lord had planned for you long long ago.

The colors are wonderful. All of my grandmother's quilts had shades of purple and a soft green. This is a beautiful pattern.

Purple and teals/greens are my absolute favorite as well! This will make a lovely baby quilt for a friend’s expectant baby and her big sister! I will scale it down and use softer tones for the baby though. Donna, this is absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos to share talent and inspiration with us.
