You can only get this outcome if you have 2500 war asets or less, don't understand how people managed to get this with 3000 or even more. You actully don't that much war asets to get the best outcoms and the sythesis ending

I also went into battle with the geth. They have a much larger fleet than the quarians.

never played the the MP but I still always had somewhat around 6000 war assets then i was tired of collecting everything so I just played the game and had maybe 3000 or 4000 and this happened and I was like 8(
