Baroness Helena Kennedy is a barrister, broadcaster, writer, and Labour member of the House of Lords. Sunil Khilnani is a scholar of Indian history and politics, best known as the author of The Idea of India. Salman Khurshid is an eminent Indian politician, lawyer, and writer. This distinguished panel comes together to discuss the unsteady dance of democracy in the face of global capitalism, the political backlash, and neo-religious regressions in India and across the world.
