If you’re the type that keeps a vehicle for a long time, it’s best to get a generation that’s been in production for a few years. The 8th Gen had some problems in 2018, but the 22/23’s should be bulletproof.

22 AWD 4 cyl Camry here. In sport mode the little 4 banger is pretty impressive for a naturally aspirated engine. 0-60 in 6 seconds. What do you want for a 4 cyl that gets 35 on the hwy?

Very happy with my 23 Se Nightshade, which has paddle shifters

It's funny to hear people knock the 2.5L. Back in the 90s, if you had a 200hp 4 banger, you were the king of the road! 😮

The 2.5 Camry is not a 0-60 car. If you keep your speed up (40-80 mph) it is a really fun and enjoyable car to drive in Sport mode. It even does quite well on sweeping, winding, and country roads. Fun daily driver. Upgrading to Continental or Michelin tires really improve the ride and handling.

Just a note, this current generation may be the last year and there'll be an entire new model. I would wait for 2024 unless you want a V6 as I'm sure that engine will be discounted.

Good video -- just made our work harder. Coming out of a 2020 Honda Accord Touring lease later this year (June) and not happy about 2023 Accord redesign. Was looking at 2023 Prius but may be too small for a 6'3" 250 lb driver. Back in 2017, Camry was too small as compared to our Buick Riviera and Honda Accord. Now, looks like updated Camry bigger and may be better choice than the new Accord.

I love my 2007 Toyota Camry CE, it's fully loaded with the SE interior. Power SunRoof, power electrical seats, Black Leather seats, SE Silver trim pieces, SE door sills plate and a 5 Speed Manual Transmission. It's a rare Camry. 2AZ-FE with engine modifications.

Our 2023 Camry SE four cylinder has manual mode and paddle shifters. Lots of trim packages have this. I still wish we could've opted for a six-speed manual, but I suppose the market just doesn't demand it.

They also didn't think of how to properly drain any condensation from the compartment inside of the dash. I've had my 2023 Camry for 10 months and I'm getting a musty smell coming through the vents. Paid $85 to get it 'disenfected' at my Toyota dealership--didn't do jack-squat.

My 23 Camry XSE has paddle shifters and manual mode. Sports mode. Normal mode Econo mode has it all.

The only thing I don't like is that the display screen sticks up out of the dashboard. I would prefer it be part of the dashboard.

I love my 2019 Camry SE. Its combination of good gas mileage and a large 16-gallon gas tank gets me a freeway range of 549 miles on 3/4 tank, making it a great road trip car. Also why say you wish it came with manual mode and paddle shifter when it's clear the video is showing paddle shifters which also indicates there is a manual mode?

At lease a 2019 Camry had no problem with it but I refuse to get 22 /23 because it basically looks no different I know it runs great but come on design team The lights in the back haven't changed at least you could have did that You're changing colors and the rims for the car I guess body design won't change for another year or 2 I' just switch to the Corolla cross XLE

BTW, it DOES come with manual shifting...
