Budokai 3 for ps2 holds a special place in my soul.

BT3 really was a game you could spent 100s hours on just games modes and noticing little details on characters was so ahead of its time for love put into the game.

I get mine on Friday NZT, delivered to my door and couriers usually deliver around the time I finish work. Perfect setting. Finished work for the week, new game awaiting my doorstep, a couple of the boys coming over to play with me old school splitscreen style (yes I know it's very limited), no other worries on my mind. Good food, good company, good jams all imminent. SO EXCITED.

With the splitscreen, originally the game wasnt gonna have it at all, but they got so much backlash they had to hastily add it in, so the Time Chamber is probably a concession/technical limitation from them having to squeeze it in

I had so much fun on budokai 3 as a kid and the theme song of budokai 3 is legendary

The producer has already said that they're working on expanding split screen stage selection in the future.

The reason the split screen local battle is only in the time chamber is because the devs originally didn't plan to add local battle at all. But after hearing the fans feedback, they decided to add a quick patch to allow for local battles, hence the limitation. Really appreciate the devs for listening to the fans. Here's hoping they'll gradually add more maps to the local battle mode.

I played BT3 on the Wii and in order to do the special attacks you had to move the Wii controllers in the same motion that the characters do. Very satisfying to simulate a Kamehameha wave and see it happen on screen. Loved the game!

The Budokai 2 story mode was so underrated. I loved the board game style gameplay. Been a big fan of these games since Budokai 1. Looking forward to this one coming out.

I watched a few other "big games of October" videos and I was shocked at how many did not include Sparking Zero. It's currently the top seller on both Steam and the PlayStation Store, beating Dragon Age and even Call of Duty. I think it might be the BIGGEST game of October.

I played tenkaichi 2 and 3 religiously as a child on my Wii I still to this day believe those games were some of the best Wii games and dbz games for that matter, that were ever made. The online pvp was actually great and it was fun to dunk on people with broly. Spent countless hours playing these games. Bought the ultimate edition, can’t wait to play tomorrow

I played BT3 back on the Wii. Man was that amazing feeling. Best dbz I have ever played. I might just have to pick this up :O
