Albania, the only country in the world that can make italian food as good as in Italy, have alps like switzerland but cheaper, have beaches like croatia and greece but cheaper and a religious harmony.

Our Albanian son-in-law guided us through Tirana where he grew up and Permet where his mother grew up. We're hoping to return. It was unlike any other place we've traveled.

I recently had the chance to visit Tirana and was blown away by the city. From the friendly locals to the delicious food, there was so much to love about Tirana. The city has a rich history and stunning architecture, and there are so many interesting sights to see, including the Skanderbeg Square and the Et'hem Bey Mosque. Overall, I would highly recommend Tirana as a must-visit destination.

We had the most wonderful time in Albania. We hired a personal driver for my wife and I and saw almost the whole country. Everything from the cities to country communities. Albania has such a rich diversified culture and the people are amazing. The food is superb and the views are spectacular.. we are already trying to plan to go back. If anybody is planning on going and you would like to do what we did then I can send you some info about our driver. He was a wonderful addition to our trip and became friends almost immediately. We did nit run into any place that took US dollars but we had plenty of leis and euros. And forget credit cards, almost non existent.

I only saw 1 place in Albania because I entered on the 1 st day ever of covid lockdown. Haven’t been able to go back since. From what I saw, Albania is stunning and I’d love to see more!

It’s absolutely one of the most beautiful countries. Besides, it has a terrain that accommodates all types of tourists. Whether you are a mountain lover or a beach hugger, you will find a place to visit. Not to mention the people and the food. Absolutely a must visit 🥰🥰

I am going to Vlore, Albania on May 25. This video was very informative especially the tip that cash is preferred. Hopefully, they like the USD.

My wife is Albanian. I spent two months there. The beaches, the mountains, the food, carrying lek, the friendly people is all mostly true as detailed in this video. It truly is breath taking to swim in the shark free sea and look at the mountains at the same time! Restaurant service is often absolutely dreadful by American standards and most restaurants do not have AC. If you use public transportation be ready for extremely cramped conditions that will most likely not have AC as well. Be choosy about where you stay both for location and price as prices for just about everything can be all over the board depending where you are. Albanians generally are friendly to visitors which is great. Beware of scam's as some will try to charge Americans more than the regular price for thing's. Gym's often do not have AC on believe it or not and driving is a free for all. I actually enjoyed driving in the Albanian craziness in places where there were no traffic lights because everything kept moving. Some people will hate this however. I enjoyed Vlore and Tirana. I did not like Himare though the sea is absolutely gorgeous there. If you have family there be prepared for apartments and homes without AC. I had a large fan with me every family visit. My Albanian family members bought big fans for each of their homes to ease my suffering. A sweet and loving people! I am very blessed to have them!

In the part of history, many countries, including Serbia, Turkey, Germany and Italy, wanted to occupy Albania for more than 500 years, failing, but they managed to divide all Albanian lands. Albanians are the direct descendants of one of the first peoples to have lived in the Balkans, the Illyrians.

You forgot to mention something for all people who want to come here. Please do not listen to slavic people when they talk bad for Albania, they don't want us letting the world know how friendly and beautiful Albania is . We still have some uneducated people like every other country but mos of them are lovely
