Compared to many of his pro wrestling contemporaries, The Man Called Sting seems pretty lucky to be as healthy and active as he is. But things could have easily gone differently for the Icon.

It's great that Steve Borden has overcome his personal demons of the past to live a longer, healthier life. It's great to see Sting have such a long and successful career.

Sting has always been my number one wrestler. The more I saw how honest and forth coming made me appreciate him more as a person. Plus I have never heard anyone say bad things about him

Sting overcame so much and I'm glad that we're able to see him off properly. Too many talented wrestlers die young or end up in bad shape. The Icon has given us so much. Sad to think about his final match being this weekend but man I'm grateful to say Sting helped form my love for wrestling.

He did what was right with his wife and family by coming clean. I admire him as much for that as i do all the years of entertainment. I know fully well i could not have done that. I am currently laying down recovering from a 2nd back surgery at 45. He is diving off balconies at 65. It seems like someone above is looking out for him. Dude is a living legend by any measure you can concieve for such a title and he seems like a genuinely good person. Thank you, Stinger. For everything.

I don't remember what year this was but In elementary still I'm 34 now but Iwent to a religious gathering with a friend to basically get out of going to school & little did I know..its Je. .Sting!!!My friends preacher dad kept telling me to stop yelling, I think it was around the time he sobered up also. Say what you will about his 2 WWE matches but they were 14 years later & he's the 1 fucking guy smart enough to know the money's not worth the bullshit & always stayed loyal to his companys the ACTUAL wrestling companys. He's the fucking man
