Open Source IP KVM setup with a Raspberry Pi and an Arduino; now with added USB VGA capture

Показать описание
Here is the next video with the USB capture working and I have also added some extra features, to try to emulate the more expensive setups. I have used the IPMI system that comes with Supermicro server boards and I remembered that they have a way of powering the machine on and back off. I noticed that not too many people had tried to use servos to press the buttons on a PC, so I decided to give it a try and you can see the results in this video. The USB capture quality is not that good, but at least it works and is reliable. I have had the system running for a few days and it has not crashed, or the usb devices have not disconnected, so I am happy becuse the reliability of the system is my only real concern and it seems to be doing well so far. There is one last feature that I am trying to add from the IPMI server systems and you you can see it in the next video which I have already recorded, but still have to put the footage together.
I will try to upload an image of what I am running on the Raspberry Pi, because I had to compile the Turbo VNC, which is a multi threaded VNC server and it comes in handy for taking advantage of the Pi's multiple cores.
The updated code is also at:
