Open source IP KVM setup with a Raspberry Pi and an Arduino; now with added USB mouse control

Here is the fourth video in the series where I have finally managed to get the mouse support working and am using it to finish off the install of the Windows 7. The mouse is controlled with the arrow keys and it is slow, but that is a lot better than not having any mouse control at all. The Orange Pi Zero is still attached and I will be using it to install the drivers for the network card into the Windows 7.
You can view some more information about the project at the below link:

It looks like a fucking piece of shit overly complicated and kinda system specific... and I love it!
You are learning stuff and having fun (mostly I bet).
I love the idea and that's kind what I want to do.
My plan is to sett up a rpi with two arduino that works as HID's one mouse one keyboard that I control with the Pi, my only isue now is what's the best way to get a HDMI signal over.
I don't intend to use it as a primary control system, but if something fucks up and my computer is stuck in a boot loop or defaulted back to the bios I wish I had a way to acutaly control it since I'm often a couple hundred km away from my "datacenter" aka my computers at home :)
edit: I know I could buy a IP KVM but where's the fun in that? normally my computers don't fail so I don't see why I would pay somebody to give me a very convenient package when I can build it learn more and understand what it takes to make a IP KVM... also learn what could go wrong.

This is awesome! What in your opinion provides a smoother image, the VGA capture or the Rasberry Pi webcam?
