I like the Pi-KVM project more as they have good support for making multi port kvm option remote controlable as well.

A lot of folks have been reviewing these, but I always enjoy your perspective. Thanks for this.

Great product, I have purchased a few and shiped them to customers around the country. Perfect for machines without IPMI. Works great over ZeroTier. Yes, there are cheaper options, but the no - fuss approach of this one makes it a no-brainer for business.

Very nice. I plan to use for dual redundant / fault tolerate music jukebox.

It will be good to compare this one with PI KVM and identify and compare features. That will be cool and my perception is that PI KVM is more versatile and has more feature that Tiny Pilot

I wish there was a pci slot form factor one (with pi cm4 ) so I can just put one inside any server without cable clutter.

Damn! Thats what I need to manage new inventory on clients to flash a new OS on boot so I dont need to go to the cliente to configure a new machine. F*king great work.

Tiny KVM uses upstream projects made by the pikvm dev. You should just use pikvm.

Someone may have said this already but I the KVM switches that don't work with the Pilot KVM are devices that require HDCP passthrough.

The idea is compelling, but the pricing makes this a non-starter. The pikvm project does everything this does and more at 1/3 of the price.

Would be nice on some of our older R710s whose iDracs don't work well on modern updated systems.

I'm a big fan of the TinyPilot. What I did was put it behind a Nginx proxy with auth to protect access to it.

Hello Everyone, I need some information on how does this Pi KVM works on the work laptop.
My work laptop is located in my house and I would like to travel out of the state without carrying a work laptop. But my office networking guys always monitor my location by checking my IP address and I cant use Team viewers or RDP or VPN routers to access my laptop due to security policies and VPN connection.

So I would like to use the PI KVM to access my work laptop remotely But I am a little afraid to do that because of the office security policy configured in my laptop.

1. I would like to know, Does my office IT security know if I connect this Pi KVM to my offie laptop?.

2. How does my work laptop recognize the Pi KVM HDMI and USB when connected to the laptop?.

3.Does my office laptop recognize the Pi KVM as a suspicious device?.

Could you please help me with my situation?

I can't believe people keep saying low cost. 400 dollars to control ONE device is not low cost.

Hi! Would this work fanless as well? Also, can you hear the fan?

Maybe a good replacement for IPMI Controllers that use the older Java.

Took this long? Glad you got around to it

Too expensive for what it does.
It can not reset or turn machines on or off, right?
