I don't know if you know but there is a neat little thing you can do with the ruler Tool.
If you want to make an Image straight (or just don't know the exact english word) and you have an line which is horizontal you can just drag the ruler along the line and go to Image -> Rotate -> Enter and there are the exact numbers typed in so you can have an perfectly straight Picture :)

Regarding oil paint. I even kept CS6 to be able to use it. One problem. If you get a look you like say on a 72dpi "Portrait" And then you'd like to use a higher resolution version say 300/600 dpi, you can't get the same effect. So you are limited if you want to print only lower resolution "Oil Paintings" Maybe an 8x10, but it won't hold up to a 16x20 etc.

Do you see any changes in the new version that would make this work?

Howard - Here's a couple things if you don't mind..

1. Do you have any videos or links to information on just what the point or purpose of Artboards is? Why would I want to use them? What are they most uses for?

2. When you're typing text, do you have any idea how to get OUT of typing? If I hit escape it takes me out but cancels the whole typing event. The only way I can find to do it is to grab my mouse or Wacom pen and click on a different tool. I hope that makes sense.

i just wish they made fonts searchable, scrolling through hundreds of fonts is kinda annoying when you know exactly which one you need

I use CS6 so I don't know how much has changed the program...
