First thing I noticed here is, that his color adjustments are very watchable and don't feel out of place. It seems familiar. Kinda. Because it's fairly similar to your own grading, Matti.
He seems very sympathic to me, his tips were not the stuff you see everywhere and his general editing was quite uncomplicated. Makes it easy to follow along. Also he seemed to have kind of a routine talking in front of the camera.
At some points however, I found his edit too simple. For example, the one wheel cover assembly would have been way more interesting with some sound and cuts to the beat.

I don't know any of the finalists, didn't even see their applications, so all my comments are my subjective first impressions of them.

This feels the most like a “Matti” video, so the style is very fitting. BUT, finding a new editor could also be a good chance to bring in a bit of a different style too. If the goal is to make it feel like Matti himself edited all the videos, this is perfect.

If the goal is to add something different, I think Jenna’s edit has great personality.

Got FIRST my vote. Definitely still has the "Matti" feel to the video, which I think is really important, but liked how he added his own personality and humour to it. Great job.

Like a lot of people in the comments down below, Ill say this. If you wanna keep the 'Matti' vibe going with your channel (which i mean it makes sense) then go with Denys. His editing is clean, straight, nothing over the top, and stylistically he's representing you best. Although if Kirk had his own channel id definitely be watching him too because his edit imo was the most interesting, yet balanced, out of all.

My vote goes to Denys, although Kirk is coming a VERY VERY close second!

So... I will say, with point #3, I hate editing. Actually, I hated it. I would do anything to not edit my footage.
But after editing some of my own videos, I've learned so much! Now, I'm enjoying it

After watching all of the clips from all of the editors, here would be my final personal conclusion.

Denys and John would definitely be at the top in my opinion because I felt the color grade was spot-on and perfect and not only did I think it was good but I also think it is the most similar to what I feel Matt would use in his own video, the edits were very fun to watch and I felt John and Denys did the best at making them enjoyable to watch. The editing Style personally replicated matt better than all of the others, and the tips were very good and realistic. I also feel like John and Denys did the best in front of camera with John being very easy to talk and looking very comfortable, and Denys almost giving this vibe that he doesn't care what anyone thinks and he's just going to act a bit awkward in order to make it funny and I thought it was great and I thought so brownie points to John and Denys for looking best in front of the camera.

After John and Denys I would have Jenna and Matthew I felt Jenna had one of the best edits if not the best edit, I just am not a hundred percent sure if it replicated Matt the best and his style of editing, so I'm not sure if that would be a plus or minus, not sure what Matt is specifically looking for in that area, but Jenna said it was incredible, smooth and very pleasing to watch, however I felt the color grade was a little bit flat on Matti vlogging at times. I also found it weird to hear the tips with a bunch of car noise in the background and then the very next tip coming from Matti being on buying a good mic, like I said before not sure if this would be a deal-breaker considering she probably would never have to do anything like that again without a mic if she work for Matt, but love the edit. Matthew I also felt had some flat color grading on the vlogging section however the color grading for his personal b-roll and his personal tips were spot-on and beautiful. I also felt like his tips were the most informative and helpful and really enjoyed the edit, great work. I also felt like they felt a bit awkward being on camera for the video at least compared to John and Denys.

With the opening clip I felt like Kirk was by far the most comfortable being on camera and most professional being on camera, I also found the beginning part to be the most funny I thought everyone's video was great but just being compared to some of the other entries I hope no one takes offense to these these are just my personal opinions. I felt that Kirk's video was just missing a little bit of his own style in it and I was waiting for him to just do something different that I hadn't seen yet or something that was his own unique way of showing something, but still really enjoyed the video and I was not bored or lost in any of the entries. I felt that Daniel had the most, or at least one of the most informative tips and most helpful tips. I thought the eating chips at the beginning what's quite humorous but personally just wasn't a fan of all the glitching. Still enjoyed the video though, all of them were great entrys best of luck to all!

I liked this one a lot! I think after watching all 3, this one, Jenna's and Kirk's were the best. Denys seems to have the same style, coloring, and editing as you. I felt the Matti vibe from it all start to finish.
