Thank you for posting this. I am a self-taught relatively new filmmaker who is just graduating from filming using an iPhone as a camera to a Panasonic Lumix G7; i got into filmmaking sort of by accident by entering my first film in a short film contest and being one of the finalists. I'm struggling with figuring out lighting right now with diffusers and ND filters. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks dude. Your words & advice really are inspiring. I want to make movies one day & be a director. The thing love about film in general is that you are able to capture anything really, emotion, nature, space, etc. You can capture it how ever you desire, & watching films is like a really cool way to escape the world.
