I've grown up around winters like this for my entire life and the thing that comes to mind from this compilation is some advice I got several years ago, "it's better to show up late than not at all". I hope some of these people learn to take it slow and if you don't have to be out...don't be out.

3:57 Cammer says he took a lot of defensive-driving courses yet drives 65MPH down an ice-covered road. Brilliant!

One thing almost all videos have in common is people driving at the upper limit of safety - trying to go as fast as possible without losing control. I'm guilty of the same but have mellowed with age, I don't mind just leaving a little earlier and taking my time - and the bonus is it is much more relaxing!! Be safe, live long friends!

What kind of bs law is that. The driver was doing as he was supposed to do by pulling over for emergency vehicles and he gets rear ended by a cop and they are not gonna be responsible fo damages ? That is the most f, d up thing I have ever heard.

12:50 I understand the police driver not being personally liable but they had better fixed the guy’s truck without any question or hesitation.

I grew up in Aurora. We went elk/deer hunting near Yampa, Flat Tops, Rabbit Ears etc. We would take the pass back when it was narrow and tighter. I remember that first U before starting up. Do you remember the old black and white Swedish building on the right when you first hit town. The last time I went through was 2002ish. I moved to Kansas in 1978. I ended up driving tandems, semi and tractors. Then I moved to Alaska. Gave up my CDL. Getting older . Lol Thank you for the videos.

Guy is tailgating like crazy and road raging...but somehow it's the truck he ran into at fault.

Awesome guy that told the snow plow driver not to sweat it. I appreciate you. You are truly a dying breed, not much give in the world anymore. When it snows here in KY I get the 4WD out and try to help before the ones rolling around trying to make a buck gets to them, given they haven't called for a tow already

to say ppl dont slow down for snow and ice is one thing, most of these ppl are going too fast even if the road were clear and dry!

The consequence of speed, lack of awareness of one's surroundings and driving abilities, arrogance, and a touch of stupidity.

That damage is all your fault, Mr. "Don't break-check me prick" That whole thing was totally preventable. You let your temper get you in an accident. Maybe next time, realize you need to be tolerant of other drivers. What a maroon !

It's amazing to see the amount of people who can't comprehend the fact that in snowy conditions you drive accordingly.

12:05 - That was one of the sweetest moves I've ever seen a car do on a snowy/icy road. Wow! Disaster averted.

The red car at 6:20 appears to be doing a graceful ice skating routine... so glad she, and others, weren't harmed!

11:31 If that was the little old ladies response, i would have wanted to give her a hug if i hadn't started laughing first.

Ohio cops have fixed it so they don't have to pay for their out of control officers ...the guy pulled over to allow the cops by him and still got hit now he has to fix what the cop damaged ..what a real cop out

18:25 Screaming that "You're on camera" doesn't alter the fact that it was your fault, and good for at least 2 citations.
