-You are loved by God.

-Love and embrace yourself to the fullest.

-Practice good vibrations daily (Think about the positive emotions that make you feel good✨)

-Don’t forget to meditate and surround yourself with people who love you and nature.

What grows hair?

✅Commitment
✅Consistency
✅Care (being extremely gentle)
✅Cleansing (solid scalp and hair cleansing regimen)
✅Crops (crops (vegetables), overall diet, ample water

Hair is constantly growing, but must be maintained to thrive. (Cleansing, grooming)
I have used these ingredients to help me achieve waist length hair. In addition, you must keep your hair in protective styles (twists, braids) for long periods of time. (3 - 4 weeks at a time etc) practice gratefulness, positive mindset, excellent diet, proper sleep, consistency, exercise, gentle detangling, no heat at all (my experience), daily oiling of hair ends , deep scalp massage, diy natural mild shampoos and deeply moisturizing diy conditioners, practice mindfulness and lower stress. The results are my own. All results vary. Hair does not grow long overnight. Average hair growth is 6 inches a year. I started my natural hair journey 10 years ago but had many setbacks as it took many years of research and trial and error to find methods/products that worked for me. Of the 10 years, it took me roughly 4 years to achieve waist length hair.
More insight: I’m a non-smoker and do not drink alcoholic beverages, nor do I take any medications.

Finally, someone is honest. I have never had more length retention than when I started doing nothing to my hair. I do nothing but water daily or, at the very least, every 2 days. I moisture and seal enough on my wash day. So for the week, I just hydrate daily. Sometimes, I make 2 wks. I have been natural since 2016. My hair never touched my shoulders. My bangs didn't grow past my eyebrows because it kept breaking. This past year, since I stopped using a lot of products per other youtubers and left my hair alone, my bangs stretch past my chin. The back stretch past my bra strap. I focus more on hydration instead of moisturizer. I couldn't be happier.

Sister is right!!! Ask any man with shoulder, mid-back or waist length hair what is the secret. Leave it alone: spritz with water every few days, oil the scalp a bit once or twice a week, and massage with finger tips. That is all. Maybe unbraid shampoo/condition, rebraid & cut ends every 2-4weeks. My hair went from shoulder length to top of shoulder blades in 2 months. Be gentle with take downs, and you will be fine!! We, as Black Americans, have been taught to "Fry, dye & slick it to the side!" Well, the results are alopecia, bald spots, and damaged scalps. Why not try something new??

Her real nails 😍😍 I’ve always been about hair health, but I’ve also been focusing on natural nail health for the past couple years.

I have 4c hair and doing nothing to my hair has grew it the longest it’s ever been. I typically wear wigs but years ago I made it a thing to wash and care for it every 2 weeks. My problem now is I need a trim but I’ve been doing my own hair for so long I’m scared for anyone else to touch it..I remember a saying “whatever you water grows” that saying can go for anything in life. Treat your hair like you love it.

I love how I'm seeing more and more girls say DO NOTHING. My hair is to my tailbone, I have been keeping my hair in braids not washing too often, not playing or touching it. I use coconut oil on the ends, and when I redo my braids and shower I finger detangle it while it's dry then quickly brush through when wet, but I do it carefully with only two or three swipes. And I have booty length hair.

There's something to this😊👍 . Personally my hair grows best in boxbraids. I wash it as needed and moisturize then leave it alone. Low manipulation is key 🗝

This is what they don't want us to know 😂😂😂. All these products but leaving your hair alone helps it grow the most (length retention)

I MIGHT start branching out and wearing my hair out. I am 6 inches away from having waist length and grew my hair by literally doing nothing. I’m talking no manipulation whatsoever for months on end. I don’t even wear it out. My hair is ALWAYS covered at work and at home. I don’t manipulate it unless I’m finger detangling to prevent matting. This may be controversial but I don’t wash it as often either. I wash it once every 3-4 months (this last stint was longer because I was in hustle mode) and do everything I need to do with it at that time. Then it goes back under cover. Yesterday was the first time I’d straightened my hair 6 months + months. I only did so because I was worried about my hair locking and I’m not ready for that life. I am a bit extreme but it’s working for me. Low to no manipulation works. It simply works.

When I started doing braids only with my natural hair and not manipulating it is when I saw true growth. There’s no going back. I might straighten it once every few months or do a slick back once in a while but braids are my go to.

My hair is also waist length and I don’t do much to it either. Pretty much have a similar hair routine.

I was in an elevator and someone remarked about the length of my hair and asked what do I do….🤷🏾‍♀️ I don’t comb and brush it..

I’m doing this with twist. I use a leave in conditioner and seal with Murray’s beeswax for locs and twist. On my scalp I spray minoxidil everyday. And I shampoo once a month with clarifying shampoo and then use a deep conditioner.
Im enjoying my hair this way. No need to do fake hair

A girl I knew asked how I grew my hair so long. It was relaxed and a bit past shoulder length. I told her I leave it alone and she looked at me like I had two heads because she loved to experiment with her hair. It was always cute but it wasn't the healthiest I knew it could be and I could see a lot of split ends from excessive straightening I guess.

I've since stopped relaxing and became a straight natural and leave it in pin curls or wrapped around itself in a bun unless I'm leaving the house. I was almost at waist length and then I got sick and started slacking on my hair care and it's mid back again now after cutting the fried ends. Plan on going longer between straightening and the inversion method in the next few months since summer is when I get the most growth to see how much new growth I can retain by September when it cools down here

Edit: I also want to state that if you have thick and/or shoulder length or longer hair, probably shorter, it’s important to detangle your hair frequently to prevent matting. If I don’t leave the house for three weeks, I’ll take my hair down, comb or finger detangle then put it back up once a week. I do it to prevents “dents” when I wrapped and now creases from the alligator clips (my hairs too thick for pin curls clips and it would take too many for small sections 😂) or stress from the scrunching if I I’m doing space buns for curls. I’ve seen it happen multiple times. It grew, but wasn’t being combed so it matted and I helped with the detangle process so I know that they were straight up mats, almost to the point of locing not minor tangles
