Which Lexus RX fits you the best? I detail the major differences between the 350, 450h, F Sport, and L versions of the best-selling luxury crossover.

I just bought my 2019 RX 350 on Sunday, thru the Costco Auto Program. That, plus $2K in Lexus Cash left me with a $6, 700 discount off of the MSRP. I didn't see anything in the local dealer's inventories that had all the bells and whistles that I wanted, so I custom-ordered it. It took a long 5 months for it to arrive, but I'm happy that I waited for the one that I wanted, exactly.

You are absolutely correctly. The 1999 RX300 was the first RX model. I was in high school in 1998 my friends parents got one and l thought it was so cool.

The mfc “recommend” but not “required” wording like with many turbo engines I had in the past, for example my experience with VW Passat turbo and some other brands. Recommended premium is also written down for other Toyota vehicles w/ V6 including Camry.

But it’s very well known fact for years that filling 3.5L V6 a regular gasoline works as well without any problem for the engine. So it’s valid for Lexus RX line of popular crossovers as well, no difference with Toyota 3.5L V6 engines case with regular.

Now Lexus starting 2023/24 are discontinuing? V6 engine for both RC 350 & top of the line hybrid version, even when this was one of the most or even best reliable engine, downsizing to 4-cylinders only.

If I had to get an RX, I’d go for the 450h F Sport in Caviar Black with red interior. My Lexus dealer I work for we use a white on black 2019 RX350 F Sport as our customer shuttle. So comfy and fairly sporty dynamics for an SUV.

I have a 2015 NX 200t F Sport lease for 3 yrs and switch to 2018 NX 300 F Sport lease again i know Lexus USA did not offer NX300h F-Sport

If the rx f sport looks so good really changes the view of the rx
Imagine a full out F model

As a previous gen 450h owner the cvt sorts of annoys me especially when you press in the power
The lack of the feel of a fear change makes it feel unsatisfactory and the drone
It is very smooth though
