Excellent look into each generation of the RX. My Wife's 2008 RX400h has hit 305, 000 in 2025 and we just had to replace the "known" problem break actuator and had a problem with the clock spring that caused the cruise control to stop working. I have always done the maintenance over our 10 years being it second hand and it always feels like it will go another 20, 30, 100K more. Just an amazing Lexus.

Thanks! I am feeling much more secure with my recent decision to go with a 2011 450h over a 350.

i have one of the early 2009 450h, running at 293k km, works like a dream, feels like it has half of that! In 2019 the battery pack was changed on warranty at the official Lexus dealer. Amazing car for the 11k eur i have paid for it. I own it for 1 year now, no problems at all.

The early models were built in japan. Enough said. The 330s were built in canada. Oops... the 350 motor was much better but had extreme head gasket issues. Stay away from the 400 hybrids. Keep a close eye on the steering rack no matter what year u have.

2011-2015 RX 350 3rd gens have a ton of bugs worked out by then, particularly the 2014 mid generation product

That was an excellent analysis. Very well done. I own a late 2020 Rx luxury edition. Such a refined car.
