DSLR Astrophotography Equipment for Deep-Sky Imaging - My Complete Setup

In this video I review each piece of my astrophotography equipment to show you what you need for deep-sky DSLR imaging. If you are interested in night sky photography, a tracking mount is needed for long exposures with your DSLR camera lens, or through a telescope.

I hope that this beginners guide gives you a better understanding of this hobby, and an idea of the costs involved.

I'm taking it way back like four flats on a Cadillac. It is basically because of this channel that I took a huge interest into astrophotography. I am just beginning with my first star tracker for my camera (skywatcherstaradventuer2i), some camera lenses, Adobe Creative Cloud a Canon Rebel t7i and I am about to purchase my first ultra high contrast filter today. So I am going back to the drawing board to the First astrobackyard videos and the guy who really made this hobby huge like it is right now in my eyes along with a few others.

I actually got some really good detail of the core of the Milky Way on a little clear sky window this past Saturday night /Sunday morning. I stacked it in sequator and couldn't believe my eyes. Wow I'm finally doing this! I thought to myself. Now I just have to go back and figure out how to freeze the ground /blend forground that I have from the same night with the photo. Clear skies and thanks for the teaching and inspiration.
