BYD has added another new electrified model to its local lineup, but this time it's not fully electric—it's the Sealion 6 Hybrid.

Since BYD launched this type of powertrain system in China over four years ago, it has quickly become the best-selling brand in the market. The prices and sales of traditional German and Japanese car companies, which originally had the highest sales volume, have significantly declined, even the second-hand cars of these brands are not immune.

I had rav4, outlander and sealion here in oz.both hybrids. What i can say is performance, fuel effieciency and comfort sealion was the best among the 3.

hi leandre, and good day. are there any dangers to the occupants inside during deep waters (flooding)? i mean, this car having high voltage batteries. i love this car though, just making sure my family will be safe in case we'll decide to purchase one 😅

Can someone clarify. As long as meron pang gas yung combustion engine hindi magiging 0% yung battery? Is it still drivable if naempty yung gas tank pero mataas pa yung Battery level?

I have no doubt about BYD electric cars but Petrol engine, this something new to BYD, can we trust them like we do with Toyota engines?
