Here at CarSauce, we review every new car on the market. We are a community of sauce givers and we'd love for you to subscribe and join our community!

We give every car "the sauce", test their 0-100km/h, and see whether or not they are worth purchasing and spending your hard-earned cash on.

From time to time, we'll also buy a weird and wacky car and take you on the journey with me! We release videos every Sunday 5pm AEST / AEDT with the latest new car reviews!

Your feedback is important, so if you want to see us do something new or something you would like me to change let me know! Got a question for me? Leave it in the comments! I try and respond to them all!

Bottom line is, competition is great for us consumers. Keep it coming!

In less than a year, reviewers around the globe no longer need to explain what a BYD is, that's actually quite a feast.

It’s funny to think that we now live in a world where a family SUV goes to 100 in 7 seconds and we think that is slow 😂

The biggest point of difference between this BYD hybrid Dm-I and the traditional Toyota/Mitsubishi hybrids is that the BYD allow owners to use the 18kwh battery as energy storage thru V2L functions, which is very handy for family outdoor/camping trips…

3 finger swipe on screen, up/down for temps, left/right for fan speed

I am a Canadian, green with envy at Aussies and New Zealands who can buy great cars at a great price.
It just goes to show, you are much much smarter than Canadians and their governments, our idiotic governments.
We are are being punished for being close to United States.
Nice that you don't have to care about upsetting the Auto Unions, GM, Ford and Big Oil.

This is 2024 and you can actually "talk to your car" to tell it to change temperature, or fan speed, or navigate to anywhere, or turn on heat seating, etc., etc..

It is one of the bestselling cars here in China, and it is beating the shit out of CRVs and RAV4s. Hope BYD can bring more good products to Australian customers.

25k cheaper spec for spec than the Outlander is mind-blowing!!! What a no brainer!

I think that this and the BYD Shark could be game changers for Australia. I think most of us are not ready to go full EV but would like the much cheaper running costs. To me a PHEV makes total sense. I can either charge it in the day from my solar panels or if the sun isn't shining it can charge it at night on a cheap EV electricity tariff. As long as I can get about 70km's of EV range then almost all of my driving will be electric. On the times when I want to travel further, piece of cake. Just flick the switch to hybrid mode and I've got 1000+km range from a single tank of fuel. I also love the fact that it'll do VTL so when the power goes out, I'll plug the house into the car. Problem solved.

Most Chinese EV is using voice control, need to get use to it from now.😂

I have the top-spec single motor version, in China. 150km on electric. It's a fantastic car!

Dear reviewers stop driving family SUVs as if they are sports cars and complaining about their handling!

This is actually the car I wanted 12 months ago, but I love my Atto 3 so much I can't give it up.
The quality & price BYD are putting out is insanely better than the competition.

No! I don't hate Tesla. It's just a car. I have no brand loyalty. Which means I hate it when governments or dealers tries to chose what I drive. Lowest price, best fuel economy, lowest maintenance suits me fine. When BYD comes on the scene and causes grief to Toyota, dumps their resale value, fantastic!

DMI is the technology that BYD is proud of. I think it will suit Australia well because it is petro saving and not as expensive as Toyota😊 there should be more better car to come if geopolitical issues do not arise

Regarding the interior, I interviewed BYD's design team. They say it's because the interior of the ATTO 3 has been complained about too much in overseas feedback. So they flinched.
