Scott Simon is one of my favorite radio hosts of all time. He's just has the best questions and funny retorts.

No one benefits from over-intellectual blabberings that don't communicate to your intended audience. It shows you truly respect people with varied backgrounds, and that's so admirable. Never understood how important "story" can be. I always wanted to get to the "facts and figures" because I thought that's what my audience wanted to hear. Finally figured it out after listening to that NPR guy on Saturday mornings.
