A Conversation with NPR's Scott Simon

On April 17, 2024, Scott Simon, host of Weekend Edition Saturday on NPR, joined the Institute to discuss his wide-ranging career.

Simon is a Peabody and Emmy award-winning broadcaster, commentator, and author. Mr. Simon is a native of Chicago and joined NPR in 1977 as chief of its Chicago bureau. The Washington Post has called his show “the most literate, witty, moving, and just plain interesting news show on any dial.”
