6 Months of Progress Learning Unity Game Development

This is my first 6 months of experience learning Unity game development (or Unity game programming). The code language I use is C#. I code in Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code. The game engine I am learning is the Unity (Unity 3D or Unity 2D) game engine. I create pixel art for my game using Aseprite. Hopefully this provides some insight for anyone new to game dev (game development or game programming), wants to learn Unity game development, or is interested in the life of a solo indie game developer (or game programmer).

When not coding, I try to study as many game design concepts and principles as I can and work towards building out new game mechanics while focusing on how it will impact overall game balance.

Building my first dream game as a solo dev in Unity has been an exciting journey so far, and I look forward to seeing where it takes me!

Did you have any coding background? Do you use design pattern?

First time viewer. I'm working on Pong for my second project in C. It hurts to delete blocks of code, but it usually helps.

Can't wait to see your devlog!
