an explanation of what the upgrades mean for Jerry and Co.: think of your tank and your bullets as the same kind of object, circles, the only difference between them being that your tank can produce bullets, change forms, and doesn't have a set lifetime before it expires.

Some of these aren't too helpful, but I hope this clears some things up.

Regen: the speed at which your tank's hp regens, gets faster the longer you go without taking damage.

Max hp: how much hp your tank has.

Body damage: the damage your tank does on contact with anything, including bullets, thus indirectly increasing your hp because the bullets that touch you expire faster and have less time to hurt you.

Bullet speed: your bullets' movement speed, and by extension, their range (due to them traveling farther in their short lifetime).

Bullet penetration: the hp of your bullets.

Bullet damage: the contact damage of your bullets.

Reload: the speed at which you can fire bullets.

Movement speed: your tank's movement speed.

If you want proof of this being how the game works, look no further than the Overseer upgrade tree, which renames bullet to drone and penetration to hp.

Health is good
Regen only needs to be about half.

But, DAMAGE and PIERCE are most important to max out. Especially early game. (Early game get one regen, then tunnel vision damage, reload, and pierce till about half. Then you can balance the rest of your stuff out. That’s how you lvl up fast)

Bullet penetration is also how many bullets you can block. So you can use your bullets to block their bullets or overwhelm their bullets. It's actually super useful

I’ve done this build before. If you max out bullet speed, dmg, and reload, you are a force to be reckoned with.

By the way, in my opinion, you extremely undervalue bullet pen because if you have bullet pen you can go through other player’s bullets, which is especially good with this build as well as reload, because it lets you overpower them and be untouchable.

A generality I found is that the more canons you have, the lower damage each bullet does. Like if the damage (and maybe penetration too?) is split between each canon but of course increases the rate of fire. I started liking the basic tank after I realized that.

Also, you can ignore the tank class upgrade and get the pop up back by having your cursor go top left of the game screen

Also the stronger your bullets, the more recoil you get which is useful for escaping enemy's.
