Today, we go to Monaco, home to our restaurant, Le Louis XV - Alain Ducasse at L'Hôtel de Paris Monaco. Here, you can experience what it's like to be a king. It’s a palace of pure luxury.
The cooking style is classic French cuisine thanks to Chef Alain Ducasse.

Having grown up an hour's drive from Monaco, I'm also amazed by how they kept this close to the local cuisine.
Also, the anemone you were served is a mediterranean species known as purple anemone. It's been fried by the people of the cote d'Azur for decades and used to be a poor man's dish.

I’ve watched every video you have produced so far, this is by far your best. Your really speaking in much more detail about the food and wine which is fantastic. Thanks for producing these videos for us all to enjoy

Honestly, for a place that luxurious with 3 Michelin Stars, a legendary name, quality food and service, AND in Monaco, €1000 for 2 is a really reasonable price!

Hello Alexander
I have two suggestions for you.
1. I would like to see a video where you explain fine dining etiquette - you have mentioned clothing before. As someone who have never tried a fine restaurant, but aspire to try it, I have little clue on the etiquette and what is expected by me as a quest.
2. I would also like to see a video from your own restaurant, and also maybe a few videos from a one or two michelin star restaurant to compare to your usual videos.
Maybe you could mix the two, and make a video about etiquette in your own restaurant, where it may be easier for you to talk with staff and likewise.

Great videos none the less! Keep them comming :D

Really loving your presentation style… you don’t waste time with a 20 minute video but still cover everything I would like to know. I also appreciate you covering the price of the meals - showing the receipt like in the last few meals helps me decide if I would like the same experience one day!

Really high quality documentary without overhyping the venue. Clear and concise but packed with objective (or refined subjective) observations. Worth every second of it. Bravo 👏…

Dear Alexander,

I have to admit the quality of your content is absolutely fabulous. I am puzzeltet how this channel has not yet received the attention it deserves. Please keep going, as your videos are not only entertaining, informative but also educating. Maybe one day, you can come to Germany to try one of our restaurants.

Having enjoyed dinner at Le Louis four or five times since 1988, I can honestly say that it is one of the greatest dining experiences on planet Earth. You captured its essence beautifully.

In late 2021, we had the privilege to dine at Mirazur and Le Louis XV on consecutive days. Both Michelin 3 stars and two amazing meals that were completely different. Casual comfort at Mirazur and formality and glamour at Le Louis. If asked to choose my favorite- I couldn’t. Both were fabulous and did what each did best. Just incredible!

Lovely videos Alexander. Very down to the experience, love the little moments in-between you see of the interactions and service moving around. It makes you grasp the atmosphere. The historical information in the beginning is amazing to get invested to the content. Please don't ever change the simplicity of your editing, the visual splendor of the courses and decor come to their best right this way. Thank you for making these videos of your experiences, the honesty overall and sharing it with us.

This is my favorite channel. I haven’t ever gone fine dining because of the price. But I will definitely start saving money to experience this at least once in my life.

As I am also from the Gastronomy business, this is the channel, I have dreamed of to find.
People with the right philosophy and a lot of respect and love for this business.
I wish you would do a never ending tv show. My heart opens up when I see a new video

the cuisine became more insteresting since Emannuel Pilon joined the team !! He came from le Plaza Athénée by Ducasse, it was an amazing place. I'm glad he brought the same cuisine to the Louis XV

I did not know that about the plane crash! That's so horrible.
I am very grateful Chef Ducasse survived. Such an inspiration.
