Lucky they got a banana. I've gone over 8 hours long haul on British Airways and got nothing to eat despite having pre-ordered my vegan meal well in advance. More than once. I stopped using them for a while because of that.

I've traveled to Japan and can confirm, the concept of "vegan" isn't really widespread there. There are some vegan traditional Japanese foods but mostly they include seafood or meat. Most Western style food has meat or dairy.

the news anchor called it "adorable". I call it "unacceptable"! This was a business class flight for goodness sake!

f you choose to have bizarre dietary restrictions, you can't expect the world to cater to you. bring your own food next time, moby.

Airlines indent a lot of steaks on their flights. Most are unserved and thrown away after flights. The number of sentient livestock lost to the airline industry is cruel.

Isn't that what those people like? I'm not sure what the problem is here, they're never happy with anything

ALL meals served on airlines should be vegan.

Why would you expect the airlines to cater to your food preference if you didn't order it when you booked your ticket in the first place. Some vegans are so entitled and expect the world to adjust to their lifestyle.
