That's all the relish you use? That's not even enough for 1 hot dog. I buy relish in the quart size jar around every 6 weeks. I mostly use it in tarter sauce because I like to dip my fries in tarter sauce. I also use it on sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, brats smoked sausage. I guess If you only use a tablespoon every now and then it makes sense to make it? I still think if you're going to make your own pickle relish you should do it with home made pickles not store bought ones. If you're going to buy the pickles you might as well buy the relish.
