How about the sizes information on the top right column there tool when using rectangle tool to measure the sizes of an object? it some time show in inches some time show in pt .... i need inches only.... all the preferences already set to inches still the same showing other units...

So by choosing a size in inches say you print a copy from your printer if you choose a size equivalent to your paper size the size on your art board will be the same on your printer copy? Idk if that makes sense. I’m just trying to figure out what happens if I choose a certain size in Adobe illustrator and I make an image after I decide to print will the canvas size be what I chose it to be? Any helpful links? Thank you 🙏

Hi Ashley!
I was looking at different tutorials and ran across this one. Like everyone else is saying your tutorial's are clear and straight to the point which is very rare.

I have ran into something that is really puzzling to me though. When I open a new file and set it to points, should this make the stroke be in points also? If not how do I get the stroke to show from px to pt?
