Which sport is better? Baseball or Cricket?
This video comprises of research done to disprove the many myths surrounding each sport and come up to my own conclusion as to which sport is superior or objectively better.

I grew up playing baseball, and I love the game. I just recently (in the last week) discovered the nuances of Cricket. A video explaining Cricket in Baseball terms helped me immensely. You completely forgot the fact that cricket balls can change the trajectory once it is bounced, that makes hitting more complicated and hard.

As an Indian living in India I know only so much about baseball. But I know in cricket hitting the ball with a bat doesn't only require power and agility, but also a very high degree of finesse. Shot selection is important as is placement of the ball.

I grew up playing baseball and love the sport, but I think we should all agree that both sports are hard! Hitting a baseball is hard, but I think a ball bouncing off the ground back into the zone with spin would be pretty freaking difficult to hit too.

My father, a brit who moved to the US, is a rabid fan of both games (although he's a traditionalist who thinks T20 is heresy.) Growing up over here, Baseball is what I fell for, and intensely so, but I've certainly enjoyed cricket when I've watched it with him, and I've always meant to more thoroughly check it out at some point. Cricket is way better cuz firstly, it's not that we make fun of safety measures, but it makes a lot more entertaining. Cricketers have to practice everyday to master fielding to be able to successfully catch the ball. While baseball players just have gloves which makes it a whole lot easier. A baseball ball is actually also a lot lighter and softer than a cricket ball so it even more impressive. Also, baseball is majorly played in only the USA. That's why there is no wc and even if there is, nobody cares cuz only usa playes. Cricket is the second biggest sport in the world, played in all South Asia like India, pak, sro Lanka, etc and also played in UK, Australia, South Africa, new Zealand, Netherlands, etc. Cricket is just more dangerous so it adds another significant twist to the game. It makes the sport harder.

In your first claim, you forgot to consider the fact that in cricket, ball bounces off the pitch and bowlers have the capacity to turn the bowl at very sharp angles to bamboozle the batsman!

I'm from the USA and am a big fan of both. I got into cricket out of curiosity in middle school and played with South Asian students in college. Baseball is my first love and my favorite, but cricket is amazing too. I hope both sports increase their global popularity. Too much soccer around the world! I support "athletic diversity".

The sports science video that reaction times of a Baseball batter and a Cricket Batsman has been criticized for being biased towards Baseball as the Cricketer demonstrated was quite a low tier by American Cricket standards (the same thing happened in the American Football vs Rugby e[isode in which they compared an NFL cornerback with an amateur rugby team in LA)
