The Nicene Creed HD

We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
Maker of all that is, seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial
of one Being with the Father.

Through him all things were made.

For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.

On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.

With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified.

He has spoken through the Prophets.

We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.

We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.

We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.
Amen.

I say 15 of these a day - for a personal petition. My mum says the other 18, making 33, the number of years Jesus lived. Thank you to the author for making it so easy to listen to

As a Roman Catholic, I have a question that has continually boggled my mind. It interferes with my Holy Catholic Faith in my dreams. I've asked this question to Father Benedict Groeschel personally before he became famous. I followed his lectures in Nutley New Jersey in the early 1980s. I once asked Father Benedict Groeschel during a confession in Larchmont N.Y. a similar question. I've also asked the same question on the radio app to Patrick Madrid at Relevant Radio in 2019. The reason I called into the "Relevant Radio" station is because another radio host on the same station, Drew Mariani, was trying to schedule the U.S. Navy Pilot David Fravor, the Cdr. of the airfleet of FA-18 fighter airplanes that were to become a part of the fleet to be sent to the Persian Gulf back in 2004. I was a faithful follower of Father Benedict Groeschel before he was famous. I followed his lectures in Nutley N.J. in the early 1980s. I eventually went to his N.Y. larchmont retreats where many of us Catholic Christians who followed his lectures eventually learned much more. In fact, Fr. Mark Mancini of St. Mary's church in Paterson N.J. was a part of my prayer group in 1980 before he went on to seminary school. I knew he would become a priest before anybody else because I knew Fr. Mark Mancini personally. In fact, by coincidence while my 26 week gestional young girl was being born, I was praying for a priest to show up at Morristown Hospital. It was a Sunday and there were not priests around. As I was walking back to the NICU to see my dying little one pound premature little girl, I was searching for a priest. Who turned the corner? A person I had not seen in ten (10) or so years. It was father Mark. I asked him why here was here at this hospital. He said: "I'm supposed to meet someone here but it appears I'm at the wrong hospital". I immediately said to him: "no, you are exactly at the right place, I need you to baptise my daughter before she dies". He said: "Where do I go" I said: "follow me to the NICU". Father Mark immediately baptised my 26 week (21 week gestation) little girl. I thought she would never live another day, she is now 24 years old and is a teacher for little children.
Back in 2004 while the "Nimitz carrier group" of multiple ships consisting of the USS Princeton and various backup ships were congregated just south of the border of the U.S and Mexico, there were anomalies unidentified as radar contacts from that settled from above the atmosphere to about 80, 000 ft and hovered to no lower than 20, 000 ft. These "radar" anomalies were occurring from a period two weeks before the jets from the group were to land from SoCal to the Nimitz aircraft carrier. They did so and the rest is history. My questions is how do we account for alien craft which is "undoubtedly" not from here? Cdr. David Fravor saw with his own eyes how the "tic tac" object moved as if a computer cursor over the "sea mount".
Here is my question: As a Catholic Christian, how do we account for the "probability" that we have been visited from things from other worlds. And please don't tell me I'm experiencing an illusion. How do we Catholics justify the reality that other civilizations have already come to our world. And please do not massage my ego with explanations that we have not already been visited and I'm subject to an illusion. I know I've not been for other reasons.

I grew up praying this Nicene Creed and I feel better with this one than with the Apostles Creed.

Muslims claim we didn't acknowledge the FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT UNTIL 325. I TRY TO TELL THEM WE ALWAYS BELIEVED WHAT IS IN THIS CREED. IT WAS PUT INTO WRITING IN 325, NOT STARTED IN 325.
