I just use spare golf clubs but alignment drills have literally saved my enjoyment of golf. They allow me to understand what I'm doing, and focus on little things as apposed to get overwhelmed on this that and the other thing! Whenever I try to improve mechanics, I find having something to set my alignment lets my focus on the other things while knowing alignment isn't the issue for bad shots! Makes huge difference on your mentality about improving!

Even though we are in the off season, I just bought my first set of alignment rods today and I plan on bringing them to the range with me to run through these drills. For swing plane, if you hook the ball, put the ball outside the stick. If you slice, then put the ball on the inside of the stick
