Most of the beasts are somewhat deformed like the brick gollums or early beasts in Central Yahrnam. But Amelia is wierdly symetrical unlike Cleric Beast and Laurence who have that big arm and their andlers are all over the place. Gotta be lore to it

She is one of my favorite designs. So much story tantalizing speculation just from her look alone! We know precious little about her, yet she makes such an impact.

Funny, I fought her again yesterday and noticed in the cutscene how the pendant even has the Beasthood rune engraved to it, and it makes a lot of sense, since she is her praying at his skull on the surgery altar, thus explaining her metamorphosis into a beast.
This why this game is my favorite dud, so much detail into every single part of the lore.

thank you so much for posting these showcases. I am currently studying game design and i am planning to create my own boss. I was originally inspired by maliketh but upon encountering vicar amelia i have been inspired. seeing this video really helps me understand her design more!
