Stihl HS 45 hedge trimmer in use

This is how I ended up trimming our large bushes with my 2 cycle gas-powered Stihl. I don't have a long reach pole hedge trimmer so I used a ladder and leaned it against the bush. This method seemed safe and worked but does make your shoulders tired. This is a nice machine although the latest technology in battery-powered lawn equipment has me thinking about getting something different along the Ryobi line since I have the 18v batteries for my drills already.
