Had two of those over the 19 years of being self employed. Great bit of kit for cutting, but brutal for trimming. Mixed hedge work, it’s brilliant. Re gap the plug often, though and change the filter and it will run like new everytime.

I have done a lot of hedge trimming like an insane amount and I have never thought of doing it that way of picking all the breaches like that 😂😂❤

I generally use a long reach Stihl the "k" version slightly shorter. I bought a brand new HS45 cus I thought it would be easier to shape bushes in flower beds etc. I found it awful, the vibrations were horrendous. I literally haven't even put more than 2 tanks through it!
I was given a HS81R which runs perfectly now I've fixed it, it has very little vibration but I don't use that either🤣
