I remade Mario… but it’s awful

The Super Mario Movie is coming out in less than a week, so I thought it'd be fun to remake the original Super Mario Bros. using Unity! I got Mario shmoovin around the place in this episode, along with some basic enemies and powerups, but I'll be adding more features in future devlogs! :D #mario #gamedev #unity

Idea: you should add a type of flying enemy that makes mario jump higher when bounced on

This wouldn't even be bad if it wasn't for the really awful jump / movement, there seems to be no momentum carry over and the jump is waaayy too quick... Otherwise I actually like it!
