The thumbnail says Mario Maker instead of Mario Bros, so the answer to the question is yes, *_it's actually surprisingly simple_*

Wasn’t there a map that perfectly re-created Pokemon Red in Minecraft?

Anything is possible in Minecraft if you out mind to work.

This was a really good recreation! I’ve always loved command block creations. If I had to make a suggestion I would say that the ground should be a different block than stone. This is because the texture for stone randomly rotates which causes the ground to look off. I’d use a block that doesn’t rotate textures like wood

Kinda reminds me of something sethbling would do.

The fact that the ground blocks are rotated randomly hurts my eyes.

I love how Swanky does videos with other creators like this. There's humility here

I'm tempted to make an entire texture pack because of that thumbnail.

This is amazing. I think the most amazing boxes are the hit boxes. Holy moly.

Just jabbing, what a genius gargantuan effort and accomplishment. Love this, well done.

i love the usage of glowing blocks for the background
i remember trying to recreate maps from super mario bros 2. they even used some limited command blocks for teleporting between certain areas and also giving you a significantly better jump height. i only finished 1-1 and a tiny bit of 1-2 though and neither of them had enemies or any smb2 mechanics

I was surprised to see you upload a Minecraft related video that I thought this video was by Sethbling at first. :P
But seriously, this is pretty impressive despite not being an emulator.
