At 8:15, how did u get the factored form as (A-4)(A+3)? If you were to not put the A variable in, would u still factor is as finding the product and sum and then finding the integers? Please explain how you got that as your factored form.

I think your answer to the last ant question is incorrect.


If at the start of month 1 the population is 600:
By the end of month 1 the pop. is 1200
By the end of month 2 the pop. is 2400
By the end of month 3 the pop. is 4800
By the end of month 4 the pop. is 9600


Therefore, it takes 4 months. That is a logical approach to the problem.


I believe the equation should be 9600 = 600(2)^t

I'm curious... is it possible when solving an exponential equation that becomes a quadratic or an logarithmic equation to have both roots extraneous?
