Q4 Solve Radical Equation and Check for Extraneous Roots

The square root of 9 is + or - 3. And the square root of 4 is also + 2 or - 2. For x = 7, On the left side, 7 + (-3) = 4 or 7 + (+3) = 10. For x = 2, On the left side, 2 + 2 = 4, or 2 + (-2) = 0. Can we say that both x = 2 and x = 7 are extraneous roots?
