Thanks for watching my first video! Which Muppets project are you saddest (or gladdest) didn't happen?

I'm still sad that The Cheapest Muppet Movie Ever Made never happened, that whole idea sounds absolutely hilarious

Maybe I'm just a tasteless heathen, but the idea of a Muppet movie, hell, any movie, where the effects and budget getting lowered is an actual element, so things around them look more and more cheap sounds amazing.

The Cheapest Muppet Movie Ever Made sounds like the coolest idea ever. I really hope it somehow gets made.

I started to realize that every Muppet movie isn't cannon because in almost every movie, they reveal that the last movie was a play.

One possible reason for all the ups and downs is that while the Muppets have a well-defined identity, you can do so many things with them that picking the right one can be tricky.

There's not enough Muppet history videos on YouTube. I know defunctland has a popular series, but there are so many interesting little stories involving Jim, Frank Oz, and the other original muppeteers that you could honestly have a whole channel documenting ice berg type Muppet facts.

This was a great video, glad to see a genuine fan take a deep dive into things like this. There have been so many interesting canceled projects from the JH Company over the years.

RIP Jim Henson.

This was my most watched Muppet movie when I was a kid. To this day I always associate "Celebration" and "Brick House" with the Muppets.

Why did I watch this. I'm SO MAD we didn't get some of these. Fantastic content, tho. Thank you.

I never thought that so many Muppet movies were scrapped over the years. A lot of which have really great concepts that I would've loved to see haven't they got canned

I really, really, really wished that The Cheapest Muppet Movie Ever Made actually got made. Out of all of these, that one sounds like it could be the funniest and most creative. I could easily see it directed by Michel Gondry.

I am convinced that "The Next Muppet Movie/When Muppets Attack" is the greatest Muppet movie never made. I know the bit with Sesame Street at the end was meant to be a joke, but now I'm just thinking "Man, that cliffhanger would be the perfect way to kickstart a Muppet/Henson cinematic universe" (imagine at the end of the Sesame movie suddenly Mick heads over to Fraggle Rock).

"Statler: The internet is a completely different culture isn't it.

Waldorf: You said it. Everything here is immediately followed by sarcastic comments and nasty responses."

Statler: Yup, we're finally where we belong.

Both: Do-ho-ho-ho-hoh!"

I unironically think the Muppet version of Treasure Island is amazingly true to the source material and also has the best Long John Silver ever;Tim Curry

I wish they did Muppets 1776. I love the Muppets and history. Imagine Kermit as Paul Revere saying, “The Regulars are coming!”

The Cheapest Muppet Movie sounds absolutely amazing and it seems like it would be more relevant now than ever before.

I think one of Disney's mistakes is always trying to do sonething over the top with them. Yes, they're chaotic a lot of the time, but there's a lot of quieter moments too that round them out, like when Kermit talks to himself in the desert or when everyone temporarily splits up in Muppets Take Manhattan. I want more of those kinds of Muppet moments and unfortunately I dont think Disney is capable of any kind of sincerity anymore.

What makes The Muppets themselves, imo, is that they're essentially a community theater troope who stays together because they like to put on shows despite the ups and downs. Except for Miss Piggy, they're fairly humble characters, and Disney doesn't get it.

I ADORE Muppets from Space. It has a kickin' soundtrack, funny scenes, and more Gonzo!
