just some things i dont think you said. how does it compare in terms of stability in wind, is it weaker or the same. and does it have the propeller spin out problem when in manual when if actions are done too fast the drone gets wind wash and spins out ?

What can be known about the c1 rating? Will it be used in a residential area? Because it does not have the necessary LED lighting.

Great review and I love your footage! Mine is on the way. I’ve been flying FPV for some time and I like the idea of just being able to pull it out of my bag and a launching without a lot of hassle. I still like to build my own, but there are times when the DJI FPV series are all I need.

Excellent review, Mathias. Can you set the Avata 2 to record H.265, when @ 4K/60, 16:9, UW, Rocksteady?? Because there seems to be only an H.264 recording, which is very slow to render. If you can set it at H.265, how do you do it?

Ich bin neu in FPV und würde mir zum Anfang eine Avata holen um die Sicherheit zu genießen. Für mich stellt sich nun die Frage welche von beiden ich holen soll. Sowas wie Easy Acro ist mir ziemlich egal, der neue Sensor ist natürlich ein Hingucker. Was mich nur an der neuen Avata 2 stört ist die grundsätzliche Geschwindigkeit aufgrund der EU Regularien. Was sagst du denn dazu? Zerstört es nicht ein bisschen das ganze?

Im new to fpv and looking out to buy my first goggles. I mainly want to fly self built drones with the dji o3/o4 unit. Do you think the goggles 3 will support the o3 air unit? And will dji release an o4 air unit this year? I really dont want to buy "outdated" equipment like the goggles 2 when there is already a successor. It just feels not right.

Thanks for the video and advice, ive had the Avata for 6 months and love it, so exciting and fun to fly and have been looking at the Avata 2 for a few guess ill upgrade....when wife approves... Unless i ask for forgiveness when it arrives lol... Its not joint money so shouldnt really matter

I had the original Avata but I returned it within the 14 day period! I hated wearing goggles and not knowing what was going on around me. The noise was an attention magnet, I am an introvert lol! I have ordered and am awaiting the Avata 2 since it seems to not only address my frustrations with the original but the added feature of Easy Acro peaks my interest!
