going upwind is the real challenge at light wind. its not easy doing upwind while power diving. can you give tips about that too?

Ain’t been on the scoop for a long time

Big kites don’t mean jack. 12m max, if you’re over 200 lbs maybe consider 14m as biggest kite. Big wings have too much surface area and too much friction.

Big board board…. Nope wide board with low rocker. My light wind skimboard is 50” long 20” wide. There isn’t a foiler riding before me.

Students always wanna go with bigger but it doesn’t help them refine techniques. It’s brute force and no fun and nothing new.
