Written instructions on how to change email on your YouTube channel in 2023

1. Begin by locating the top right corner of the screen and click on your channel icon.
2. From the dropdown menu that appears, select "Settings."
3. Within the settings page, find and click on the option "Add or remove manager."
now on this page you might not see this option if your channel isn't a brand account, in that case just visit this link and from here you will be able to turn your YouTube channel into a brand account.
4. Once you've done that, proceed to click on "Manage permissions."
5. Google will now prompt you to verify your identity by entering your password. Simply enter your password and click "Next."
6. After the page reloads, you'll need to click on "Manage permissions" once again.
7. Look for the button labeled "Invite new users" and give it a click.
8. A field will appear where you can enter the email address you wish to change your YouTube channel's email to.
9. Type in the desired email address and then click on "Choose a role." From the dropdown menu, select "Manager" (be careful not to choose "Owner").
10. With the role selected, click on "Invite" to send the invitation.
11. Now, switch to the email account you used and locate the invitation email. Accept the invitation by following the provided instructions.
12. Once the invitation has been accepted, you'll need to patiently wait for 7 days.
13. After the 7-day period, return to the "Manage permissions" page.
14. Click on "Manage permissions" once more, and you'll see the new Google account you added as a manager, clearly listed.
15. Locate the account's role and click on it. Change the role to "Primary Owner."
16. Finally, click on "Transfer" and then "Done."

The only reason why I wanted to move my channel to a branded one was cuz I recently got scammed on Google chat. I blocked and reported the person. But they had still messaged me under new accounts. But I don't want any contact with this person. But Google doesn't let you change your email address you have to create a whole new account which I don't understand why. So then I found out about moving personal channel to branded channel to change my account. But now idk because I worked hard to get my YouTube channel they way it is and don't wanna lose it. I just don't think I'm ready to risk it all up
