Guys it’s worked for me. I lost login password for my old email so I couldn’t get past the 2 step verification, however doing this just gives u a new email for ur PlayStation account. U don’t need to log into ur old email or anything. I still have all my data and games, even when I went into the PlayStation app everything was there just now under a new email. Hope this helps as I was skeptical myself.

🚨ATTENTION🚨 For anyone who’s worried that you need access to your old email to change it to your new email don’t worry. YOU DONT NEED THE OLD EMAIL, you can just safely change to the new one with no problem. Geez I had to take the risk since no one in the comments were saying anything. Anyways hope this helped 👌

I want to change my email because the one I’m currently using I cannot access it at all since it was made years ago, I have tried to recover that email but apparently it’s not possible. I want to use an email I have access to but I’m afraid that it’ll want me to log in to my old email in order to change it. I took the risk if you have your old email and password it won’t send a verification to verify it it will only ask to verify the new email, and everything on the account was still there nothing got deleted
