I'll stick to gas.
Until the supply meets my financial ability. 😓

Just bought the Milwaukee today after a year of putting it off and rethinking. Was it worth it? 💯

I used a Ryobi 40-volt 21in to do a side lawn cutting business and it works great😊 I can't see myself going all out and spending $1, 000 on the Milwaukee when the Ryobi does just GREAT FOR WHAT its supposed to do with 2 X 4 amp hour batteries I can get up to an acre done with a second pass RYOBI 40V IS NOT BAD AT ALL I EVEN BOUGHT A SECOND ONE LOL TRY IT GUYS U WONT BE DISAPPOINTED 💯🇺🇸

I bought a $300 Skil mower and love it. Not as powerful as these but gets the job done.

I used a 50$ ryobi grass trimmer to cut my grass every 2+3 weeks for about 3-4 years. Worked absolutely fine, never broke. Only down side was the battery, which was just exactly enough to cut it in 1 go.

I own the Milwaukee mower and absolutely love it. It the only Milwaukee tool I own that my wife adores and will race out to go cut the lawn. The two 12amp batteries it comes with I use often on my grinder or other high draw power tools when I have large jobs to do. Also the fact you can store it vertically unlike gas mowers is s game changer in small garage, the headlights are actually really handy snd the self propelled is actually alot of fun and it is so much quieter than any gas mower.

Love money, buy cheap, when it does something less, voice the message; It was cheaper.

Love the function, love the system, want it to last, buy without compromise, then voice the message; You can buy less than excellent, but you still can't beat the excellent! Always buy with your heart and soul in mind and be happier despite the sacrifice.

I love me my Milwaukee. But Ryobi is the clear winner here. Price is much better, so the value is indeed better. Essentially they do the same function anyway. My choice is the Ryobi. But the Milwaukee is ever on clearance or gets a huge price drop I’d get it over the Ryobi.

Just got the Milwaukee at my local HD for $500 on clearance. Dont know why it was only my store. I checked surrounding cities close to me and it was still full retail at some, $999 on sale at others. I watched it for months and they had it on clearance for $600. One day it was back up to full retail. So I asked an associate. They said I can get it for the $600 cause I showed them a pic, and got my discount off the full retail price. Best deal I think I’ve ever scored! I tested it yesterday and it’s a powerhouse and self propelled tackled hills better than my gas powered. Batteries lasted well over an hour.

I went with the non self propelled Ryobi as an entry level mower for $349. It’s $750 less, so I could get 3 of them and the cost would still be cheaper than the Milwaukee. But for power tools I prefer Milwaukee’s bells and whistles. Just depends on what you value and how you want to spend your money.

I was definitely skeptical about electric until I bought 60v toro and love it!

My parents got the Ryobi 40v a few years back and they love it for mowing their 1/3rd acre lawn. I've heard some bad things about the Milwaukee mower, it seems to break often.

I actually have the Ryobi 40v mower. I have a 1/2 acre property. I need two 6ah batteries to cut the entire lawn. It states that one battery will cut up to a half acre but that’s not true! I also got it around Black Friday and only paid around $300 for the self propelled model with the two 6 ah batteries, so I think I got a pretty decent deal

I have an 18v emower and it struggles to cut my suburbs yard. I wish I would have gone for something with a much higher voltage.

It's worth getting the Milwaukee just for the batteries each one of those batteries is $247 a battery or so I think they might be a little bit cheaper now the rapid charger is about 145 dollars to buy by itself you start to save a little money on charger and the I have all Milwaukee stuff anyhow so to me it would be a good thing to get those batteries for other things that I have also

EGO has been in the grass cutting game longer. Those 56v battery packs arent no joke. Ill stick with them until the other brands are proven.

My current EGO is is self propelled and cuts better than my gas powered one. Not sure if its a blade speed thing or what but its one of the cleanest cutting mowers i have used.

I’ve got a similar 40V Ryobi (the one with 2 batteries, so when one dies, you can use the other without going inside to get another one). Unless you are using those Milwaukee batteries for something else, or each Milwaukee battery lasts twice as long, I can’t see a reason to go Red on this one.

Ive used the milwaukee and i was absolutely against battery powered mowers and chainsaws and shit but for around the house i have completely changed my mind how far the technology has come is crazy

We have the Ryobi and we love it. I do not miss breathing mower exhaust while using it.
