Messed up the last part. Not division by x but divide both sides by 3 to get x=1/3. I considerly is not perfect.

Among other things, it is an almost universal law of puzzles that "27" is a jumping, solar-powered, klaxon shouting "There's a cube here!"
Since we're looking for a small number, go for the cube root.

His maths methods are fine but I find his sing song voice together with his quaint ways of speaking irritates me. Where did he learn English? I considerly is not English. Also he seems to be talking to himself when he says “ We’ll find out…” I also wish he would just state the mathematical point he wanted to make first so to highlight the focus of his podcast. This is especially true of his geometric problems where he rambles on and on thus confusing students with too much detail and not concluding with what he hopes they had learnt from it . Eg Where he shows the angle subtended at the circumference in both x and y was 35 degrees. He should have gone on to show that this was generally true given the preconditions he had set.
