The idea of a nation wide strike sounds absolutely amazing and that should totally be organized! Take power back and demand the things we need to LIVE. Not survive, because majority of people are already surviving right now. But to live life and have time to be with family and friends, to take care of our homes, our own physical, mental and emotional health and well-being, to do hobbies and have fun and be happy is what living is all about.

If big companies get big money then so should everyone else. Prof. Wolff has been so wonderful and informative about the truth of our economics. I would love to see you interview Prof. Wolff again! Especially to see if a nation wide strike would actually work.

I got rid of my amazon prime and stopped shopping at amazon all together. Trying to elect officials to change things from the inside is futile, a general strike is the only way to apply pressure on lawmakers and demand change.

It's a good thing that I have never bought anything from Frito-Lay. I hope that something good comes from this workers' strikes at Frito-Lay. I will also say that most politicians currently in office oppose strikes like these because general strikes only weakens the influence of the lobbyists that these politicians serve.

What really upsets me is how many people are self righteous about what other people must do for their health, while pigging out on Frito-lay products (or some other junk food, or smoking, or getting drunk, etc.)

There are laws meant to discourage this very thing. Time and a half after 40 hours, and double time for working a 7th scheduled shift in a single week should make this sort of scheduling extremely inefficient. There's a fly in the ointment though. The mandate for corporations to provide their employees with heath insurance(when even crappy insurance is expensive), as well as the fact that corporations have no soul or morality, counteracts the way this should all work even with our flawed labor laws. If only there was a way to take the provision of insurance out of the hands of both employers and employees alike. I have an idea...M4A would literally solve this very issue.

If you care about these severely abused employees...you will boycott all Frito-Lay brands until they treat their employees right. SHOW SOLIDARITY and help these poor employees!!!
I emailed Frito-Lay on their website and informed them of my boycott and shamed them for employee abuse!!!

I never really do purchase Frito-Lay products I get no name brands instead when I do get them. Don't use Home Delivery Services either I just go to the store. I will confess though I shop at Walmart frequently.

How is their fucking so-called union allowing that to happen? Why didn't the union call for a strike after the first week such conditions arose? I think these workers need to seriously scrutinize their union structure and leadership. Ain't no job worth dyin' for. Nor, country, for that matter.
