Frito-Lay employees on strike in Topeka

For over a week now, employees at the Frito-Lay plant in Topeka have been on strike. Complaints of poor and dangerous working conditions, forced overtime and minimal raises pushed union workers to the strike line.

These people should get a minimum of 10 per hour pay increase and a 20, 000.00 bonus, the freaking company made 4 billion if profit in one year.

The demands are not inline with what they are paying, and people are entitled to live a life. Its not as though Frito-Lay doesn't have the money. Adequate AC/Heat, water, breaks, food, proper scheduling/staffing, time off to recoop would all benefit Frito-Lay in rhe long run anyway.
